STORY: There are these two big rival groups who try to outdo each other. And there’s Nishi (Bipasha Basu) who pulls back her hair, wears Allen Solly clothing (don’t get me started on the in-film ads), romances the new vice-president Ritesh (Kay Kay) – basically plays a corporate bitch, who will do anything for a profit. And then she becomes a pawn in the fight between the two companies. Yeah and there’s an item song by Payal Rohatgi too.

REVIEW: The movie has a dry plastic look. But the twists and turns in a slightly predictable story kinda make up for it. CORPORATE suffers from a major PAGE 3 hangover and many of the the latter’s guest stars also have cameos in this one too – Pralhad Kakkar, Dolly Thakore etc etc. Everything else is not great but kinda ok. Thankfully the film steers clear of corporate mumbo-jumbo, though mass audience will find it hard to understand terms like ‘disinvestment’, ‘fiscal policy’ and the likes. The most memorable performance though is by Vinay Apte who plays the greedy minister and has some of the best lines in the movie.

BOTTOMLINE: Watch only if you can sit through the last 15 mins.
